Additional info on the pattern:
This ribbed scarf uses mosaic techniques to show columns and rows of the same color in the same row! Switch colors as desired; this scarf is very scalable - just cast on with a needle and yarn of your choice to get the fabric you like; the pattern repeat is a multiple of four. HINT: When counting rows, count the horizontal rows on the RS. It’s time to move to the next portion when you count twelve (12) stripes (each stripe having two rows). MC and CC should be on opposite sides.
OR you can also count the CC and move to the next segment when you get to six (6) stripes of two stitches each.
TIP: 1. If you aren’t sure which step you’re on, turn work so that RS is facing you and determine if it’s a HVH or VHV pattern.
2. See Hint above about when a segment is finished.
3. If you have MC working yarn on one side and CC working yarn on the other, start with the first row for the non-predominant color of the last row of stitches worked.
4. If both are on the same side, start with the predominant color of the last row of stitches worked.
